As with any hand made product, manufacturing
variances can occur which can lead to occasional minor problems. We don't make mass-produced 'machine precision' products, so if you experience a problem,
contact us to remedy it. Complaining on blogs and forums doesn't resolve issues. Be polite and we'll look after you :)
foofpod usage video
When you first use your foofpod, it may
be a very snug fit. After a week or two of use,
the fabric will stretch to mould itself to
your iPhone or iPod.
Watch this video on how to easily insert or
remove your iPhone from
a very snug foofpod.

foofpod inner reseating
It may be necessary to reseat the inner lining
of a foofpod after it has been washed. Follow
these step by step instructions:
foofpod white satin inner
lining is freying
Our white satin inner lining (used in older Type A foofpods)
has a habit of freying where the iPhone volume switch
rubs against the inner lining. This can happen with
very snug foofpods (less snug foofpods should not
have this problem).
Freying can be avoided (or minimised)
by rotating the iPhone slighly when inserting/removing
it. If freying get's out of control, we can replace the
white inner lining with a black inner lining foofpod
(replacement depends on fabric availability).
Free replacement is only available to iPhone users
with white satin inner lining foofpods.
The black satin inner lining is much more robust
and should not experience this problem at all.

foofpod inner lining
thread is a bit loose
This can happen and in most instances is a small
cosmetic problem, affecting only appearance.
You can trim the loose threads with scissors.
Structural integrity should not be affected as the
foofpod seam will adequately support the wadding.
Should your foofpod fall apart, of course we'll offer
a replacement, if you supply a photo showing us the
problem. We generally offer a free replacement
if the foofpod problem is within 90 days of dispatch.
Keep in mind, we've had only two foofpods actually
split their seems and suffer from structural failure,
so there is no need for concern. It's ok, we'll look
after you in the unlikely event of this actually happening.

foofbag usage video
A foofbag is a snug fit, to avoid your
laptop easily sliding out. Inserting
a MacBook might be a little tricky
at first until you get the hang of it.

foofbag inner reseating
Reseating a foofbag is very simple. Just
pull the inside out. Follow the same instructions
for reseating a foofpod inner, but instead, use your
hands to push the inside (inner) back in. Push the corners
so they fit neatly :)

Note to G4 iBook & White
Intel 13" MacBook users
This advisory does NOT affect early G3 iBook models, Powerbooks, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPod or iPhone users.
This advisory is NOT relevant to sherpa fleece inner lining products
The newer white plastics used in the casing of later model G4 iBooks & current 13" Intel White MacBooks appears to be subtly absorbent of it's surroundings
and has a propensity to discolouration.
We therefore need to alert you as follows:
- Do NOT clean your iBook or white MacBook with a solvent product
and then insert it into your foofbag. Wipe it down with a water dampened cloth and let it dry
if you have previously used a solvent cleaning product..
- New MacBook models run VERY hot. We recommend that you
wait for it to cool down before inserting it into your foofbag. We know this is
inconvenient, but if Apple laptops can burn skin, they can melt fabric too..
Advisory: Potential discolouration from black satin inner lining
(white 13" MacBook or G4 12"/14" iBook only)
It is possible that certain residual chemical solvents on the surface of the white plastic used during the manufacturing plastic molding process
can 'theoretically' cause the black polyester satin to cause subtle discolouration to the surface of the white plastic contact areas.
This may appear as a diamond pattern and may only be noticeable in certain lighting conditions
or upon close inspection. The diamond pattern is a result of the pillow part of the black satin inner lining. The thread area does not make
as much contact, which gives a nice demonstration of a 'before and after' affect. If we did not have the diamond pattern, discolouration
may not be as detectable or obvious.
If affected, what is the solution?
In the unlikely (it is very rare - 0.005%) event of this happening, do not panic. Discolouration can be successfully removed
by using 'Simple Green' all purpose cleaner. Other products have been known to scratch, so we only recommend 'Simple Green'
with a soft non-abrasive cloth.

For white outer case cleaning, spray direct on a clean cloth or chamois. Then apply to the outer case. This will take
quite a few minutes of circular rubbing. The Manufacturer recommends you dilute 30:1 for computer plastics.
This technique has been recommended by various staff at the Genius Bar in USA Apple Stores. We have also
used it 1:1 (not diluted) when conducting tests ourselves.

About fabric wear & tear
Our products are made with high quality fabrics and are quality checked
before we send them out to you. As with all fabric products, acceptable
wear and tear is to be expected. If you handle a foof product roughly,
don't expect it to last as long as some who treats their foof product gently.
Lifetime of a foof product will vary according to handling, environment
and care. Considering this, we cannot accurately say how long our products
will remain in original condition, but we've had many customers state that
their foofbag outlived their laptop :)
